The Art Institute of Charleston Reviews
I have learned so much as a new student in just one week! The classes are a few hours long so it is a lot of information the teachers throw at you, but being someone who has little to no experience with most of the software being introduced, I am learning a great deal. Especially about commercial design and how important learning to write professionally is.
Classes get very repetitive and makes you feel like you are just wasting your time. Very little to no benefits to going to school here. Expensive for no reason and you aren't even given the supplies you need and find yourself having to purchase a lot of things out side of school just to get your school work done. This place is honestly a joke and you probably won't enjoy yourself if you go here. Also the parking is terrible and some days won't be able to parking because of tourist and cruise ships.
This school is very expensive so be sure this is absolutely what you want to do because loan debt is a commitment. The teachers are all currently working in the field related to the subject they teach. I am a newer student so I haven't had many encounters with all of the staff but the friendliest is the admissions staff, everyone else is not so personable with new students. The resources are awesome and the location is not only beautiful but so convenient to all of the attractions most tourists want to see in charleston. Which can be good and bad, but mostly beautiful.
