Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center Reviews
TTUHSC is located in Lubbock, Texas. The Health Sciences Center trains students in nursing, allied health, physical therapy, occupational therapy, medicine, and other professions in the health field. TTUHSC provides their students with a quality education and seeks to encourage academic growth and collaboration among the health professions. Cost of living in Lubbock is affordable, and allows students and families to live enjoyable lives!
As stated before, TTUHSC has not been great on communicating COVID-19 plans in terms of online learning. However, TTUHSC does everything possible to make sure each student has the same experience online as we would in a classroom setting. Technology will always have issues, but TTUHSC tries to fix these issues immediately and resolve minor problems that we face on a daily basis. Though I learn better in a classroom setting, TTUHSC has made it possible for me to learn adequately while still at home.
TTUHSC has been a wonderful experience for me. I am currently a second-year pharmacy student, and school is very difficult. TTUHSC as a whole makes my well being and mental health a top priority. TTUHSC gives me many resources to help with anything I need and also provides me many opportunities as a future pharmacist. I would say TTUHSC hasn’t communicated COVID-19 plans to students very well, though I know this is new territory for all of us. TTUHSC is a great school and has been a great choice for me.
