Texas State Technical College Reviews
Texas State Technical College is a type of college if you want to experience more hands on than lectures and book work. One of the best benefits is that tuition isn't as much as a 2-year college plan that might cost you at least $50,000 or more for most universities. TSTC efficiently helps Texas meet the high-tech challenges of today's global economy, in partnership with businesses and industry's and other government agencies and educational institutions that partner with the technical college in many ways also helping students with programs to continue forward and helping out with scholarships and many other incentives like proceeding the of stretching it's arms to many other universities to get others involved.
I had a great experience at TSTC! Especially with the people in my program, the dynamic of the has always been friendly and open. As well as the instructor that I've throughout my time here are very easy going, helpful, and professional during lectures.
My experience at TSTC West Texas Sweetwater has been AWESOME! Enrollment for classes is very easy and they walk you through the whole process. The staff actually talk to you, the student, instead of to the parent and you getting the information interpreted by your parent. They make you feel very welcome right from the beginning! You're also roomed in the pods (dorms) with a person who is taking similar classes as you, so it's nice to have someone right next door to help you study or relate to. The Sweetwater campus is very spread out, but there is always someone around to give you ride from one side of the campus to the other or to help you find where you need to go. I'm in the Automotive program and my instructor is awesome. His classes are very hands on & he's always willing to help you in whatever you need. This is a very personable college and makes you feel like you're right at home! I've definitly made some life long friends here!
