The campus is very walkable, it has nice scenery, and most buildings are spaced out nicely, so it is a nice morning/afternoon workout when going to class. The professors are very nice and can be flexible if you pay attention and show you care about the class. Everyone is usually very friendly, and the campus has a wonderful atmosphere!
Texas A&M university Kingsville is a school that becomes your home away from home school. The environment is comfortable and the campus is beautiful. Everyone at this school is cool and friendly, and you’ll really get to experience real south texas culture. There are a lot of opportunities Tamuk has to offer like involvement with fraternities and many academic opportunities and learning / experience opportunities within your major. This including trips to other states and countries and hands on labs. My overall college experience has been great and I have already made so many friends ! I am proud to be a javelina!
This school has phenomenal faculty and staff. The professors are informative, which helps when you have a bunch of questions. I was nervous that weren't going to be the friendliest, but I was worried for nothing. On the first day of class, the professors established a welcoming and realistic environment for the class. They may be strict, but that helps create more accountability or expectations for yourself. I was able to come out of my comfort zone and push myself to short term goals. This all accumulates to my long-term goal of putting myself out there.
