I love Texas A&M Corpus Christi because it's such an amazing campus! What makes it so amazing is it's location. I love that it's on it's own island away from the city. The scenery on campus is what makes is great as well. It feels like a vacation with the sounds of the seagulls and the palm trees, which remind you that the beach is near if you need to relax and take a break. I also appreciate the friendly staff. All of my professors have been nothing but caring to the students in their classes. Another thing that makes campus great is the amount of floor plans there are to choose from and the places to dine on campus. If i could change one thing is if islander housing had a better management system. There were always problems with students in my building breaking things, noise, among other things, and staff just brushed it off. Another complain I have about housing is not being able to get my preferred floor plan even as a senior, as the private dorm rooms are reserved for freshmen.
I am currently a student at Texas A&M University- Corpus Christi and I absolutely love it! I am very satisfied with my decision to attend this university not only because of the beautiful campus but the amazing professors and opportunities offered. The university ensures that students of all background feel comfortable and safe while in attendance. It was a priority that I choose a school in which there is on campus activities and student organizations that I could be involved with during my free time- and there is so many to choose from that range between sports and the outdoors. Overall, I have met some amazing people and I wouldn't change my experience ever! The university is awesome and do not forget to visit the beach from time to time.
Texas A&M University- Corpus Christi provides a lot of resources for both academic studies as well as provides resources for students to take advantage of for mental health care. I really enjoyed the classes and events this semester held. The classes are not too big, and the teachers are great! The events this college arranges were all wonderful and fun, there is one in particular that allows you to interact with baby puppies, kittens and therapy dogs. I do, however, wish they allowed students living in momentum to have a meal plan.
