Texas A&M University - Texarkana Reviews
Texas A & M University at Texarkana is a wonderful institution that truly cares about the students that attend and are looking to attend. I personally have had professors that are very communicative and clear with their instruction. The atmosphere that is created at the university is warm and inviting. It is a beautiful campus with a well-rounded faculty. The professors and advisers respond fast to email and are always willing to help with any questions that you may have. I transferred there my junior year in college, and it was the best decision I have made for my education! I highly recommend this college.
I have only been attending TAMUT for a year after transferring from another university, but it didn't take long for me to realize what a great school it is. The transferring process was a breeze: I was accepted and had everything I needed to start school in no time, even Financial Aid and that is always a headache. Anytime I have a question all I have to do is send an email explaining my problem and I get a reply within hours. The TRIO SSS program is also amazing! I was having a very difficult time and ended up not doing so well my first semester (I had just gone through a miscarriage) and then my second semester I was pregnant again and working constantly to keep up with bills. The TRIO SSS program and my advisors helped me through my second semester and continued to check on me and encourage me to keep moving forward with my education. It is a great school with faculty that really cares about their students.
I like Texas A&M- Texarkana because they are very organized, thoughtful, and caring. I love how it is a small university and it has the family vibe to it. Everyone knows everyone in the department and they are super nice and very helpful when you are in need of something. The whole school is just one big family from the students, to the faculty, to even the cafeteria staff. I absolutely recommend it!
