Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi Reviews
This campus is an amazing one, there is always something to do, or a student organization doing something for the students and staff. Sometimes there will be an organization that offers free coffee in the mornings, another one offered free coffee and a free taco for taco Tuesdays! Plenty of ways to get involved!
I have attended TAMU-CC for three years now and I have had the greatest college experience. With the beach right across the street, TAMUCC has a great atmosphere, and the staff is always ready to help. The buildings are easy to locate and the walk from place to place is always bright and sunny. I always feel safe walking to my car at night! The website is easy to navigate and the teachers always stay on top of their stuff! The only thing I would change about my school is the fact that we don't have a football team! Everyone wants to have those big college football games to go to, and I think if TAMU-CC had a football team, that would be the icing on the cake!
Attending TAMUCC has been a unique experience full of diverse people and opportunities. There are several things that make this university different from most. First and foremost, the campus is located on its' own island and has beautiful, relaxing scenery all over the campus. The over-all attitude of students and professors is a friendly, relaxed state that is always inviting of other students. Even though this is a smaller university, I admire how involved the on-campus organizations get. They are always encouraging people to join and help out their community and attract students with interesting events, most of which are free or low cost! One of my favorite experiences at TAMUCC was an event called Paws on The Island sponsored by the counselling center. During this event, you get to relax, make stress balls, draw, and best of all pet and play with the nice dogs! It is such a cute, relaxing event, I wish to go every semester before finals.
