I love School at TAMUCC! I do have a few concerns though. I sometimes wish the professors could speak better english for the students to understand. And student living is very expensive compared to other universities and I've only attended school here for a year and a half and the prices everywhere have increased by at least 20 percent.
On the bright side, the campus is a beautiful here! I could not have asked for a more inviting place to be. The weather is nice and the garage parking is super helpful when it comes to the rainy days or when the university holds large events. I have made friendships and memories that will last forever and I cannot see myself earning my degree anywhere else.

TAMUCC is an excellent university regarding the quality of professors, the small cohorts of students for optimal and personalized learning, and the dedication to assure all doctoral students have experience presenting at conferences and publications before graduating. TAMUCC staff and students are like a family where you feel supported, nurtured, and you know that they care about your success!
My time at TAMUCC started off rocky due to having had an academic advisor that didn't direct me to the degree plan that best suited me. After changing to a different degree plan that contained classes that were more relevant to my career goal, the department of Kinesiology guided me the entire way! They were very encouraging and willing to help their students to the best of their abilities. Although I am grateful that I graduated, I miss taking classes at TAMUCC.
