Terra State Community College Reviews
Terra State is a very friendly, happy, and welcoming environment! The college offers many resources for help with tutoring as well. The professors are very understanding and helpful with students to make sure they succeed!
Terra State is a good community college. The social life is lacking but that can be because most students live off campus. There are new dorms for students but the quality of life for those students has not been very good. What Terra lacks in campus life it makes up with excellent academics and professors. The instructors care for their students and want them to succeed. The class sizes are generally small so it is easy get to know other students and professors. Overall I have had a great time at Terra.
Having to take a physic class scared me so bad. I was hoing just to pass the class. First day the professor came in with a big bag of jolly ranch candy and passed it around. He talked about how his class worked and what was expected and that he would bring in jolly ranch candy each class. Then he jumped right into teaching. He was awesome! I learned so much in his class and seen how physic applied to my life. Understand that it had been 15 years since I was in college, did I mention I'm 45 years old today? What made not just physic class great but each class last semester great was how the professors were able to relate and talk with a woman their age and a young man who was still in high school.
