Tennessee Wesleyan University Reviews
The University is has a nurmous amount of opportunities for degree seekers. The atomosphere is welcoming and educationally drivien. I grew as a person and gained amazing insights on the resilency of people. I was able to obtain a degree to further my career and help individuals from juveniles to professional clients. I would have loved if they offered a doctorate in my field of study.
I recommend TN Wesleyan to anyone. I’m 41 and transferring from a big university in another state after 20 years. They took all of my transfer credits! Such a difference in that small private school verses a big public college. They really make sure you reach your goals. Their professors don’t run and hide from you. At TN Wes the professors will actually come to you and check on you!!! The advisors are so attentive and make sure you have all of your ducks in a row. The staff at TN Wes are so warm and welcoming and eager to help! They have all the tools you will need from tutoring to a success center that will help you with any problem. Yes the tuition is higher but TN Wes has their own scholarships that can balance that out.
Older buildings, but smaller classes. I had issues with professors cancelling classes an hour prior to class start, and I was a commuter that drove over an hour each way so this was very inconvenient for me. The school is very focused on athletics, but expect their students to maintain their grades. Overall, I would recommend to anyone wanting smaller class sizes with great professors!
