Like the other response I left said, a lot of the clinical sites will hire on students after they graduate. I honestly don't know of a student that attended this college that had a problem with getting hired on after graduating! I believe that the college will also help students find opportunities after they graduate to help them get hired on locally.
It’s a great school and offers smaller classes which is more beneficial when trying to learn. Each professor that I’ve come across is compassionate and I appreciate this school and what it’s turned out to be.
My five semesters in the LPN to RN Bridge program were quite interesting. ..no matter how nervous I got about each new class..it all seemed to work out very well for me...up until 5th semester when all of the non BSN instructors were replaced by BSN or MSN level instructors...I struggled ferociously to maintain my grade standing...I was an A student one day and woke up with an F in both my classes the next!!!
Holy Crap...my GPA was in jeopardy. .I dug in and literally went to war on my academics...I graciously conceded to two Bs and still graduated with HONORS...my sole goal from day one...however, I don't particularly like the monkey wrench that was thrown our way at the END of our program!!! Some nearly did not make it!
I'm sure it will be OK in the future knowing what you're dealing with but to switch up the curriculum like that threw everyone for a loop! Luckily I was able to hold on!
