SUNY Westchester Community College Reviews
Thus far, Westchester Community College has been a pretty good experience. Choosing to go here was one of the smartest choices I made financially, and it bought me some time to figure out what I want to do with my life. I have been going here part time for about a year and I’ve met a couple of amazing professors. I’ve heard mixed reviews about professors and how well they preform as a teacher. I’m not going to lie, it seems like there are only a select few of exceptional teachers in each department. Additionally, this school is very diverse and safe, welcoming people of many different races, cultures, and abilities. The food on campus is surprisingly good! Overall, the college may have its flaws, but it’s a great start towards your education beyond high school, and ultimately a career.
For a community college, I will never take for granted what I have learned here and the people that have met. this college is centered in Valhalla NY, just 10 minutes from the hustle and bustle of White Plains. The professors in this school are extraordinary and are there to help you succeed during school and after. The opportunities are endless here, I cannot emphasize that enough! IF YOU'RE THINKING OF GOING HERE, DO IT!
Definitely a great community college. They offer so many scholarships as well as overall help, all you have to do is ask. Professors range but I have had some who are so caring and dedicated to helping you out. Use all the resources they have to offer, just ask the faculty and they are always ready to help out. Wish there were dorms! Food is pretty good as well, fresh and they change it up a lot
