I am a transfer student to Suny potsdam! I love how everyone I spoke to over the phone is willing to help and guide you. Shout out to Terry Francis and Karen Ahlfeld they have been wonderful to me! I’ve yet to step foot on campus but I know I’ve made the right choice to attend this college and I can not wait to start! I know the academics is great from the family and friends I know
Who attend, with wonderful professors I just wish it was a little bit cheaper .

I love the campus and the music school. The people I have met on campus are so nice and the staff, for the most part, is so helpful. The food is great and the walk between buildings isn't bad at all, but it can seem horrible in the dead of winter. If you go to Potsdam, definitely invest in a ton of sweaters and a really good winter coat!
I am a vocalist at the Crane School of Music. Personally, Crane itself is very welcoming, from an outsiders view they may not say the same. Everyone in Crane is like a family. I wish the rest of SUNY Potsdam was more like Crane. I would say the food is average, but I wish there were more options (especially healthy ones). I think the way meals/flex is run is very inconvenient. If I want Becky’s or the PAC Cafe (Starbucks) for lunch lunch, I can only use flex. I would say the rest of the campus is also average, except the dorms. The dorms need to be remodeled or something. Knowles is pretty disgusting, especially the random white splashes all over the lounge walls. The reason that I’m giving SUNY Potsdam a 4 star review is simply because of one thing, the Crane School. Crane is what makes this school what it is. Without Crane, I definitely would not be attending SUNY Potsdam.
