Onondaga Community College has been preparing me to do well inside and outside the classroom. The knowledge that I gained from my Business Administration classes has tought me about leadership, financing, accounting, and entrepreneurship. My professor's are friendly, knowledgeable, and always available to help. After graduating I plan to work in leadership positions in areas such as retail, government, and education. My long term goal is to be able to start my own business. I am so proud to be a student at this college. I plan to take my credits and degree and transfer to another SUNY university to expand my knowledge in my career area further.
The class sizes are small, the largest lecture I had was with 18 students and 1 professor. The food is amazing, and if you don't want to eat at Gordan Hall, there's always an event with food to try. Everyone is really nice and welcoming, there are events every week where you can get to know people and have great experiences. If you're looking for a small affordable college, I definitely recommend!
Really great community, super helpful resources! Entering college, I was terrified of what lied ahead of me, I had no idea what to expect but OCC has truly been so welcoming. Wonderful campus. So much diversity amongst the students, really inclusive!
