From SUNY Oneonta

SUNY Oneonta is a four-year, public, residential liberal arts and sciences college with a pre-professional focus. The college is located in Central New York and enrolls approximately 6,700 students in a variety of bachelor’s degree programs and a number of graduate certificates and degrees. Popular majors include: Biology, Business Economics, Education, Psychology, Criminal Justice, Communication Studies and Computer Science.

SUNY Oneonta is known as a caring campus where people are genuinely friendly and work hard to make everyone feel at home. We’ve built our reputation on a consistent, collective, investment in students’ interests, well-being and success.

Oneonta students are well prepared for life after graduation. By the time they hit senior year, nearly three-fourths have been involved in at least two high-impact learning experiences—like studying abroad, doing research with a faculty member, participating in a service-learning project or completing an internship.
