Equine program is great! Make sure to find the right group of friends! Professors are mostly understanding, scheduling is tough when you don't have a good advisor. Take as many courses in high school before school and get geneds out of the way asap! Study hard and use the library you get some many free opportunities and things available. Show up to barn duty and work hard because the weaklings will be picked out. Take as many classes offered as you can the more you do the more experience you will have and opportunities for internships and other programs.

SUNY Morrisville has been a very accommodating college. When I got inured during my second week there, all of my professors and even the chefs at the school pulled together to help me get through recovery and finish the semester. The chefs made special box meals for friends to bring me since I couldn't go to the dining hall on my own, and my teachers worked with me to manage my assignments so it would be an easier workload. The college even provided transportation to doctor's visits so I could get evaluated and cleared.
As an equine major, I am impressed by the knowledge and experience that each equine related staff member has to offer. The equine program gives substantial variety and room for growth in specific avenues within the horse industry. SUNY Morrisville has a very welcoming feeling and encouraged me to return to its campus for three open houses, and finally to begin my studies there. The staff is willing to help and always there to push students onto the track of success.
