Suny Morrisville is a good school to attend when you just trying to get out and be independent. But i wouldn’t say this could ever be a dream school. There could definitely be more activities to get the campus involved in and clubs. I was very interested in cheering but was disappointed when i heard the school didn’t have one and me and my friends decided to make a team yet the campus or school itself wasn’t as supportive, and the financial aid team wasn’t good as well , they did not have good payment plans and you were literally own your own for real , all they cared for was money , no money or classes etc.
Equine program is great! Make sure to find the right group of friends! Professors are mostly understanding, scheduling is tough when you don't have a good advisor. Take as many courses in high school before school and get geneds out of the way asap! Study hard and use the library you get some many free opportunities and things available. Show up to barn duty and work hard because the weaklings will be picked out. Take as many classes offered as you can the more you do the more experience you will have and opportunities for internships and other programs.
I absolutely loved my experience here at Morrisville and am so happy I decided to pursue my nursing degree here. The faculty and staff is beyond extraordinary and I could not have picked a better set of individuals to prepare me to become a registered nurse. I always felt welcome here and everyone was always met with a smile. I will truly miss this campus and would recommend to anyone looking to pursue their education further. SUNY Morrisville is diverse and offers classes from nursing to caring for animals. It is truly amazing. They have a one of a kind children’s center where I had the opportunity of sending my own son. To be able to feel safe sending your children to a daycare while you’re receiving education and not having to worry is truly incredible.
