Farmingdale State College is a great college overall! I would definitely recommend any student to attend! I'm a bioscience major and all of the professors I've had are very nice and have their own ways of teaching which makes each class memorable in its own way. The campus is also beautiful especially in the spring and summer and is constantly being improved as it is growing in popularity. There are people of different backgrounds everywhere you go on campus and a great appreciation of culture throughout the college. For food, the campus cafeteria has different types of food made fresh daily and the food has never disappointed! There are also options for vegeterians, vegans, or anyone who has preferences in the foods they eat. Located on the campus is its own police and fire department so safety is definitely key for all the students and staff attending. As a student, I never felt unsafe on my campus.

Farmingdale State College, or FSC for short, is a great and affordable college if you are an in-state resident. The teachers are very friendly and helpful to you. If you are dorming in the residential halls, the Residental Assistants will set up activities for the entire building.
Across the street, there is a Target for dorming students along with a Dollar, a Wendy's, a Speedway for students traveling by car, and an Adventureland. Every year in September, the park allows FSC students to attend for FREE to enjoy all the rides and food. However, the street is Route 110, which is active with cars and trucks. There is only one safe crossway to get to the other side if you are walking.
The Health and Wellness Center is very active in checking on the wellbeing of the students.
I greatly recommend attending this college if you are in New York.
The employees are SUNY Farmingdale are always willing to help. As a nursing student I have dealt with many different departments during on my journey to eventually help others, and I can sincerely say that everyone is great. The employees go above and beyond to help answer my questions and emails in a professional and timely manner.

Additionally, the individuals who attend the College are among some of the best. The diversity is nice to see in a world where so much darkness is placed on people of whom are different than oneself. I have made so many amazing lifelong friends, and for that I am truly grateful.

The administration is constantly improving and updating buildings, and I feel safe when I am alone on campus. So with all that being said, what else can a college student ask for?
