I am very lucky to have found SUNY College at Old Westbury! The school has a reputable Accounting program and Honors College. Professors are well-qualified and are more than willing to help students. The School of Business has successful Networking Events and Recruitment Programs to help students successfully transfer from being a student to emerging into the professional field. Student Government and Athletics bring a great experience at Old Westbury full circle.

Room for improvement can be found in administrative offices, where work typically gets done rather inefficiently. As a student, I would like for student matters to be handled importantly and as a top priority.

Overall, SUNY College at Old Westbury has provided me with a happy and memorable college experience. I have made meaningful connections and lifetime friendships. I could not ask for a better college to attend!

Old West has amazing professors who challenge and prepare you for your career! I transferred to Old Westbury from a local community school and was surprised how diverse the school was. The campus is small which is great because in the winter you don't want to travel far for classes or food. Certain majors such as Public Health are small, which creates intimate learning settings with professors and classmates. All my professors were always available and willing to help outside their office hours and email back within 24hrs. There are multiple computer labs that are open until 12AM and private rooms in the library that are great for studying. Overall, my experience at Old Westbury was life changing! I became an A student thanks to all my professors dedication and love for teaching. Old Westbury is a small campus that focuses on its students academics and creates new exciting college experiences.
I love the liveliness of the campus life. There are always activities and events going on during common hour that I always want to be a part of! The professors are wonderful and understand and there are accommodations for students who also work. Each class is four credits instead of three which is helpful for people like me who work and go to school. Change that I would like to see, are more in depth academic advising appointments. Personally, they are too short which leaves no time to clarify any confusion the student may have.
