SUNY College at Old Westbury is somewhat a decent school. I wish there was more things to do during the academic year. Our school has very little things to do. All we have is a gym with an Olympic size pool, basketball courts, tennis courts, baseball and softball fields and a soccer field. Part of the college experience is having a football team. We have ample space for a football field and I can guarantee that we would have a great team! The cafeteria should have better quality food. The food reminds me of public school food in New York City. We should also have more dining options other than a fake chipotle, Nathan's and Dunkin Donuts.

The staff, faculty and other employees of the school are amazing! Many of them are very helpful and easy to connect with! Our school is a safe campus due to having State Troopers on campus. Our campus is massive, which is both a plus and negative. We have ample room to excercise, but we need a motor viehicle to go off campus. We are near 2 major highways and 15 minutes away from the LIRR.

The school transportation system could be more reliable as I have waited over 20 minutes for a shuttle van to take from gate A to the main building on campus. We only have one person who drives the van and does other administative duties. That contributes to the shuttle bus being delayed.

I wish the school spent more money as there are several things that could be changed. I hope this has given you insight on choosing schools! Happy college hunting!
Review SUNY College at Old Westbury
The athletics department at SUNY Old Westbury could also have changes made. Part of the athletics building, we have a big general sports room that can fit 5 NBA size basketball courts. The complex also has an Olympic size pool. We have a mediocre excorsize room that has treadmills, weights and other machines that are there but do not work.

The school can make ample changes that would make the experience of college a lot more enjoyable!
While the staff and facilities are phenomenal, the financial and procedural processing could use some work to help expedite time spent in their offices. Other than that, I've noticed that where SUNY Old Westbury shines is in their professors' commitment and dedication to the success of each student. If you've struggled at other universities, I wholly recommend SUNY Old Westbury.
