SUNY Clinton Community College Reviews
Rating 3.55 out of 5 137 reviews
Excluding the current construction (causing loud noise making concentration difficult at times and prohibiting certain parking areas), Clinton is a beautiful, peaceful place to go to school. With a variety of majors and cheaper fees due to being a community college, I highly suggest coming to CCC to get at least your general education requirements in, not to mention enjoy the scenery of mountains and Lake Champlain.
Their nursing program is amazing and immersive, the nursing faculty teaches in a way that hooks the students and they are always helpful.
The concern of the teachers. They are invested and help you every step of the way. Even online they give you feed back. The students are friendly and that just makes your experience phenomenal. It is nice to see people with the same struggles lend a hand and have you work together to achieve goals. I am in the nursing program it is very tight the students look out for one another.
I have had an amazing experience. All of the professors are nice and willing to help you out with whatever you need. They have an amazing tutoring center.
I like how it is a small Community. The classes are small so I am not distracted by too much confusion. The Faculty and Staff are pleasant and supportive and easy to talk to. The location is not far from Restaurant's and Shopping Center's. It has a supportive Tutoring Center that is available with helpful Staff members. I like how my schedule works so I have time to get my home work done. The students are compassionate and easy to make friends with. I like how the security makes me feel safe!
I am taking classes there while still in high school. It has been great to receive college credits before I set foot on any campus.
I love that it's a good place to start off at especially if your are just coming out of high school. The only thing that I would change would be that it should be a lot cleaner and kept up better and that the dorms should be a lot closer to the college then they actually are.
It's been a good experience so far. I'm excited for the rest of my time at Clinton Community College.
The computer program is amazing. the books used to complete the classes were books that prepared you to take certain certification exams.
I am currently in the nursing program at Clinton community college. The program is known to be one of the hardest programs in the state, and I must agree! It may be tough but it is a program that prepares you to be a competent nurse upon graduation. I would give the college 5 starts but undortunelty the school budget is pretty low, therefore things like the computers in the library, the carpet (ewwww) flooring that is 50 years old, and the overpriced food in the tiny cafeteria with minimal options are some of the reason I'm deducting stars. The major point is that the nursing program is amazing, one of the toughest educational experiences of my life and I have a bachelors degree. Clinton makes great nurses !!
The school is very flexible because they want to see us succeed.
I personally haven't taken an online courses. But I've heard good things about them.
The credit transferring system that they have is really good according to other students I have talked to. There are also a lot of post-grad job opportunities that professors and advisers help students find.
Clinton Community College has a vast opening for alumni who visit the campus and everyone is very nice and caring and there's no sense of nervousness talking to faculty and staff.
My major opens up a world of opportunities and will prepare me for a job in the real world.
It' a great school and everyday it gets more and more exciting to attend.
Most kids in college have jobs. I have two Jobs and I'm a full time student. My advisor helped me pick classes that worked around my work schedule and allowed me to still have time to study and if I had problems I could go in between classes to get the help I needed.
