I am currently in the nursing program at Clinton community college. The program is known to be one of the hardest programs in the state, and I must agree! It may be tough but it is a program that prepares you to be a competent nurse upon graduation. I would give the college 5 starts but undortunelty the school budget is pretty low, therefore things like the computers in the library, the carpet (ewwww) flooring that is 50 years old, and the overpriced food in the tiny cafeteria with minimal options are some of the reason I'm deducting stars. The major point is that the nursing program is amazing, one of the toughest educational experiences of my life and I have a bachelors degree. Clinton makes great nurses !!
Review SUNY Clinton Community College
Clinton has a great way of showing each student the right help they need individually by having an equal amount of students in each class making it easier for students to understand the professor and/or for the professor to make sure each student understand the material that is being taught. Clinton has amazing courses for student making them feel like they are a part of the college and making them feel as they will learn more then what they paid for. Each professor in Clinton have many different ways for the students to contact them, making it easy for the students to ask questions about homework grades or even to get an assignment early.
I have really enjoyed my time at Clinton Community. The view from the college is absolutely breathtaking because it overlooks Lake Champlain. Since the college is so small, it's really easy to get from class to class. The best part about my time at this college is my participation in the Honors Association. The adviser does a tremendous job with planning activities and helping students reach their goals academically. If I could do it all over again, I probably would still choose Clinton because when I graduated from high school I had no idea where I wanted to go or what I wanted to do. Going to this community college really helped me find my true passion.
