SUNY Buffalo State University Reviews

Buffalo state is an amazing college to attend. The college is good is good about including diversity and acceptance to everyone! The professor are pretty easy going for the most part. The part I don’t enjoy is the dorming as it always stinks of smoke, and sets off the smoke alarm.
As a freshman coming into Buffalo State during the time of COVID, I will definitely say that my experience with Buffalo State has been interesting. I have definitely built a community with students that look like me and have similar ways of doing things. Being an education major I have learned that my professors support me to become the best student/teacher that I can possibly be. If you want to become a teacher, Buffalo State University has a great teaching program and gives you amazing hands-on experiences.
The school is very diverse and has a variety of things for you to do on campus. It encourages students to get involved with clubs and organizations. They are also very serious about your grades so most professors will give you accountability. SUNY Buffalo State College is a good school for education. If you’re looking to do, music education with only classical and opera music, this is a good place for you. The only thing that I wish they worked on was the diversity of the genres of music in the music department, that way students would be more interested, and intrigued to open up the account to a variety of genres.
The food is pretty good and it’s not the same thing every single day so you don’t have to worry about it when you’re in the dining hall. If you want to, you can go pick up your food and bring it back to your dorm. There’s really good studying places in the residence halls, in the library and in some other buildings. There’s a good support system with health and counseling
