COVID-19 Update for Prospective Students and Families:

State Tech takes hands-on education very seriously. In fact, we completed the fall of 2020 semester 100% in person and we never had to move a single class online. State Tech builds “flex weeks” into our schedules that allows this to happen. Learn More

My experience at State Tech has been very professional. The professors care about you succeeding and are always willing to help. They took the time to help me transfer programs and gave me all the necessary paperwork in a timely manner. They are always quick to answer questions through email and always keep you up to date with events. The facilities are always clean and the food is very good! Personally, I like how the college is smaller in numbers compared to a big university because it is easier to build a relationship with classmates and professors. Overall, I think State Tech is a great place to continue your education.

I took one online class my first semester and it was easy to follow along. We had workbooks to go through and got multiple emails from the professor regarding the class. Personally, however, I learn better through in-seat classes than online. When COVID hit, we went to online and I personally did not learn the best online. We did get emails from our professor about 2-4 times a week regarding assignments and tests. When taking online classes, it is a bigger responsibility to complete your tasks on your own time than doing it in class. But, I would rather learn in-seat than online.
Great school, great staff with Great atmosphere. I would recommend this college it has great job placement when you graduate.
