Locally, in Fredericton, this university is often referred to as "the high school on the hill." It is a little too soft on students and this shows in the strength of graduates. There are numerous stronger universities in Atlantic Canada and stronger universities in Fredericton.
St. Thomas University is a small yet prominent university, particularly in the liberal arts. Its campus has roughly 2000 students, 45 percent of whom are foreign. Its diverse society has made it very appealing to students like me because we will find no difficulty blending in. Classrooms are meant to contain no more than 30 people, making it much easier for students to get support from their professors in any area.
I have got admissions to St. Thomas!!! However, I am working on my scholarship essay to be able to attend this university in the future. I firstly didn't expect to apply for this school because there is only a month left prior to the deadline; however, after having video interview with Ms. Moore, an admissions staff, I have been convinced by how caring and enthusiastic the staff are, thus hopefully I could really be a part of this community in the future.
