I appreciate the smaller class sizes which allows students to have a more personal connection with teachers, more so when the classes are difficult. The campuses are relatively easy to navigate and the atmosphere is friendly and light. The campuses offer free math, science, and writing tutoring which is a huge plus. However, this year the Tarpon campus did not have the necessary tutors in the math department to help students. Other than the small hiccup, I would easily recommend this school to another prospective student!

My overall experience at St. Petersburg College Tarpon Springs Campus is excellent. The professors truly care about their students success and well-being and are always there to lend a helping hand if needed. The tutors are phenomenal and incredibly understanding. If someone is a bit lost or unsure of something just know that the Learning Support Commons is always there for your needs! One of my favorite experiences at this school is joining the Sustainability Club and being club secretary for 2 years; another memorable experience would be working as secretary for The Hellenic Society back in Spring term of 2016... The Hellenic Society is a club that encourages students who are interested in Greek culture, traditions, and getting involved in the community with activities, special on-campus events and presentations. It is opened to anyone who wants to join, not just students of Greek descent or origin.

One of the most memorable journeys throughout my years at St. Petersburg College Tarpon Springs Campus has to be the study abroad Greece 2016 program. Students and faculty traveled on a 2-week journey throughout the island of Kalymnos and the city-state/capital of Greece. Athens. I
