St. Mary's University - Texas Reviews
Review St. Mary's University - Texas
St. Mary's is an expensive university, but financial aid opportunities are numerous, and their financial aid office is very helpful and understanding. Professors are personable and sincerely invested in student success. Academic advisors encourage involvement in student organizations, which are diverse and welcoming to new members. Overall, the campus community is kind and high-spirited. St. Mary's is a great place to start an academic journey or transfer!
St. Mary's University is a small private school in San Antonio, Texas. The campus has very limited dining places on campus. StMU professors work well with every student and ensure to push them at their fullest potentials. My professors often encourage the whole class to visit their office hours and ask for help at any time. Some professors are not as reliable as others, they expect you to meet all standards and expectations. I had a professor whose grading system was somewhat biased because there was not much content in it. Rather, it was based on the quizzes and essays. Campus life is very exceptional because there's always a peer who is eager to help you in any way that they can. St. Mary's University has services such as greek life (sorority and fraternity), career development center, religious center, and etc. St. Mary's University often holds a public event that benefits everyone in the community aside from the students and faculty.
Choosing to go to school and play soccer at St. Mary's university in San Antonio has been the best decision that I ever made. The teachers are amazing, they truly care about their students and what they are teaching. My favorite part about my school is the business school. In the business school I continue to learn so much. My classes are small and teachers provide students with much needed attention and explain the material in such a way that it makes it easy to understand and learn. I would recommend St. Mary's to anyone, it's truly an amazing experience.
