As a sophomore, I transferred to St. Joseph's University. Everyone I met on campus made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The admissions staff was extremely helpful and made certain that I had all of the information I needed to make the transition as easy as possible. When classes began, I was impressed by the professors' kindness and helpfulness. They were eager to help me catch up on any material I had missed and ensure I understood everything. They seemed to genuinely care about my success. The campus is lovely and well-kept, and the location in Brooklyn is ideal. I enjoy being in the city and all it has to offer while still maintaining a campus atmosphere. I believe it is the ideal combination. Overall, I'm glad I decided to transfer to St. Joseph's University. The friendly atmosphere and helpful professors have made it an excellent place for me to further my education.
My time at St. Joseph’s has been exactly what it’s intended purpose was to be, and that is a learning experience. Throughout my three years in college, I’ve been blessed with many opportunities to grow as both a student and a person. With the guidance of amazing professors, I learned valuable information in the classroom. However I personally believe, I gained even more from the life experience I acquired outside of the classroom. Being someone who comes from a rural area, being in New York City was originally a really difficult experience for me. I had to develop independence quickly, and I was lucky to have a strong foundation of people at St. Joseph’s to help me navigate through the changes.
