My St. Ambrose University journey has been nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment I set foot on its picturesque campus, I knew I was in for an adventure. The academic opportunities and dedicated faculty have not only expanded my knowledge but also ignited a passion for learning. Beyond academics, the tight-knit community at St. Ambrose has fostered personal growth and lasting connections. The warm and welcoming atmosphere made me feel like part of a supportive family, and the staff's genuine care and guidance have been invaluable. Engaging in activities has allowed me to explore my interests, develop leadership skills, and create cherished memories with like-minded individuals. I am grateful for the transformative impact it has had on my life. This remarkable institution has not only prepared me academically but has also nurtured my personal and professional development, instilling in me a lifelong commitment to learning and service.
I've had an amazing time at St. Ambrose! The campus is small and walkable, and the professors have years of experience and are very personable! Campus facilities have either been updated or are in the process of being updated allowing for a more modern feel to this 140 year old university. The only downside to the university would be the food service, they could definitely get rid of their current food service provider and I think you'd get a collective celebration from students and professors alike. But besides that, Ambrose is an incredible private university that will give you experiences to last a lifetime.
St. Ambrose is a student-oriented school. The majority of professors are willing to help each student succeed. With every professor required to offer office hours, there are endless opportunities to seek help. Class sizes are usually small, so you're never a number. You gain personal relationships with your professors. You're surrounded by like-minded people who want to thrive in what they do. This school helps you build connections with all kinds of people.
Change that could be implemented at St. Ambrose is building a sense of school spirit. Recently, with the addition of “the SWARM" and other clubs, I’ve seen an increase in attendance at sporting events.
