Spartanburg Community College has great teachers! Every teacher I've encountered is competent, has a great passion for their job, and only wants to see you succeed. Since it's a small commuting college it doesn't offer a variety of on-campus activities or places, in general, to socialize and meet new people.

My experience with the advising, enrollment and financial offices were terrible though. Much of the process of my enrollment was me stumbling around blindly trying to figure out what exactly I needed and none of the offices were very receptive of my cluelessness.

Spartanburg Community College is a great start for students fresh out of high school or people who haven't been to college for a while and would like to go back to college. It's a great start for anyone who is unsure about what they would like to pursue. The school is affordable and the teachers are great. I have to say that SCC has a great staff who care about their students. Any student can benefit from this college, it's very affordable and a much cheaper route to completing prerequisite courses before transferring to a four-year university. The programs offered for students are really geared toward success. And they have an excellent learning center and offer help in most subjects if not all!
Spartanburg Community College is a great college. The professors are always willing to help out with their office hours, and are always willing to meet if there is an issue. The classes are not too hard. In addition, Spartanburg Community College offers free tutoring at their TLC for however long you need help for. Also, there is availability to free printing and they allow people who aren't enrolled at the college to use their computers as well. At SCC, the opportunities are endless.
