Love it! Every representative works with you the whole time and makes the experience nice and personal each time, I am online but each teacher I've had worked with me to find the right times for my crazy schedule. I am very excited for my future and what is next in my life. I also love how this years tuition is free
I liked how the teachers were very intentional in making sure that we students understood the material that was given to us. A lot of the students, however, looked middle-aged, and for someone as young as me, I didn't feel very safe when leaving class. The campus was very run-down, and I didn't feel like I had the whole "college experience." Many of the students were friendly, but barely sociable, as they would just pass me in the halls without saying a word. I believe that many of them were just there because they had not to be not because they wanted to be. That was hard for me because I love to learn. Overall, though, the teachers and the courses were interesting and easy, so I didn't struggle at all. However, for someone looking to make friends and enjoy school, I would not recommend this place.
My overall experience at Spartanburg Community college was excellent. As a freshman, I was very nervous but SCC made it very simple and great place to start at. The professors and students were all very friendly and helpful. I was a student at two campuses and the environment was very welcoming at both. What I really loved was the diversity. Not only with different races and ethnicities, but with the different age groups. I would definitely recommend SCC! It’s a really great place to start!
