Southwestern Community College - North Carolina Reviews
Southwestern Community College has proven to be an excellent option for me as a recent high school graduate investing in post secondary education. The staff is supportive, and routinely checks up on students if they notice a change in academic performance or lack of online activity for web based classes. The classes are rigorous and challenging, and the deadlines are reasonable. The instructors for the online classes are accommodating and compassionate, and understand that things do happen that can make completing work on time difficult (such as power outages and inclement weather). The course materials are reasonably priced, and there is an abundance of supplies and other materials to set a student at Southwestern Community College successful, regardless of their purpose for attending.
My experience at Southwestern Community College was average. I feel that some courses were too easy and not very academically challenging. However, most of the professors there are very passionate about what they are teaching. Aside from the academics, there are people of all ages and backgrounds which makes it very diverse.
I love the instructors and all the services the college offers that are included with tuition! There is free tutoring, events going on just about every week, and amazing faculty and staff.
