I loved some of my teachers on campus! They made the whole experience here worth it. However, there are various problems with the administration and financial aid resources.

Great academics, professors will work with you, great community. The classes are small and specific and the professors work hard to make sure you are getting a solid education. Classes are flexible and all of the staff make sure you are getting a good experience. There are so many clubs and activities to be involved in and the staff really remember your face. The student support services offer so many benefits. The agriculture department has a great program, and the head of the ag site is truly passionate about the future of her students. It is one of only two community colleges in Iowa that has the college farm actually on campus. There are so many hands on experience opportunities and if there is something you want to learn about, the instructors make sure you are able to get that experience. Southwestern has really given me an advantage to go on to a university as well as to get a job in the real world.
I sometimes preferred online learning with my schedule. However, work load and enjoyability vary greatly depending on what courses you take online. My academic advisor helped me a lot when it came to this.
