Classes haven't started yet, but I'm so pleased with the ease into what could be a hard transition. Starting a new career could have been scary or daunting. I have a great advisor who answers promptly any questions that comes up. I've had different experiences with other colleges. This new Part of my life is welcomed and encouraged. I have a Success Support System with Southwest Wisconsin Technical College! Campus offers SO many great amenities. Or full online programs to fit into any schedule or lifestyle!
I began courses at Southwest Tech. because (at the time) it was one of the only Schools offering 100% online classes. These were convenient for me and I looked into other all online Schools, but they rated poorly over many areas in comparison.
The Staff here are all very friendly and welcoming, I believe most of them care to see you succeed, some definitely have egos. The learning content isn't great, my 1st semester, Instructors put up numerous assignments with all kinds of spelling & grammatical errors but, would ding your grade if you also had errors, yes, even the same errors. I thought the content would improve over time but, it did not. Also, if you're looking for Nationally recognized, transferable credits to take elsewhere & earn another degree, don't earn them here. Not a single one of my credits earned were transferable to any other Colleges I applied to. Overall, I learned about my Major but I definitely don't feel confident going to work with this education.

Having gone to Southwest Technical College, I enjoyed the smaller classes so it was easier to connect with the instructors and get the help needed to succeed. However, some classes with certain instructors are a bit more challenging to complete as I feel the class was under prepared in certain areas to successfully pass the class. I have taken several classes with Southwest Technical College, and they for the most part have been very helpful in achieving my needs to successfully completing a class.
