I have little bad things to say about Southwest Texas Junior College! I was a dual credit student through high school then an on-campus student for the past two years as I complete my dual Associate degrees, there has ever been a bad experience to put me off. There are student-oriented clubs to select from, all active and engaging in their own right, and a variety of degree plans fitting for individuals choosing to stay local or transferring to a larger school.
Enrichment is average with a student lounge with an active and engaging staff. There is a gym for all students to utilize, open at fair hours, as well. Dorm life fairs similarly, with nice dorms (if you keep them clean) and active resident assistants willing to help when on duty.
Overall, I would recommend SWTJC to any student wanting to attend a junior college in the Southwest Texas area - with campuses in six different SWT cities for long-distance and in-person learning.

I like how the professors were at the college, they held great lectures and had a lot of experience in terms of education. The classrooms are very nice and clean, they are constantly updating and fixing any problems that may occur. They have a very nice library that is well stocked. A very competent IT team that is always helping anyone who needs help anything technology related. The Office staff and Consuelors are very kind and helpful and are always willing to help you with anything, from Financial Aid to your course selection.
Great school! Great students! Great teachers! The campus is so close at heart makes for great connections between students and teachers. The location for the campus is great as well close to main places of the town. The dorms are amazing as well, and security on campus makes me feel so safe!
