I have just finished my first quarter at school and have three more to go. I am going for certification as a Medical Assistant. When I first inquired about the training, I was taken on a tour of the campus and was impressed with the class rooms and especially with the lab and the equipment I will be learning to use. The school is very hands on and that is the way I learn the best, just listening to lectures is not for me. The campus is very clean and very student oriented. The workload was a bit over whelming for me at first, but I have never been to college before and have not even been in school for 40 years. I just need to learn how to effectively study again but I must admit I did very well in my first quarter and look forward to the next three. My last quarter will be an internship at a medical facility and I have meant a few people who were hired at the facility where they completed their internship.
