I like Southern Tech for the class flexibility and online classes. I feel certain courses should have more instruction. If possible better study guides for exams. Overall, the teachers and staff care about their students success. They all help any way possible to make their dreams come true. I would recommend this school to anyone who wants a fast or slow pace education. You can complete courses full time or part time and you never feel rushed. I am going for my A.S. degree in Medical Assisting and finish in September. Going to Southern Tech has been a great experience and I am looking forward to a great career.
The reason why I chose Florida southwestern state community college is because I heard from one of my family members that they offer really good programs and that they are a good college in the state of Florida. From my point of perspective from looking at their courses and types of degrees that they offer, I was very pleased to see all the different verities that the college has to offer to us new students and members. If I was to get accepted into the college i would be very happy and pleased because they offer a really good radiology technician program. I want to become a radiologist technician and I would love to pursue my education here at Florida Southwestern Community College. I like how the radiology program offers on hands training and their program is willing to allow students to graduated and go straight to work at a hospital and start on their career.
This college has small classes and about a 15:1 student teacher ratio. It has no college housing or perks such as athletics, drama, debate ect. It is a straight up learn your trade school. Very challenging academically.
