Southern Arkansas University Reviews
Southern Arkansas University is amazing! The professors I have are very nice and are willing to help you if you have questions. I've also been able to engage with them enough that they know me by my first name. I went to Guatemala for study abroad and my Spanish teacher helped me get reimbursement money since I applied for the scholarship too late. Now, about the college itself, everyone I've met are nice and it's sooo easy to make friends. The only complaint I have about the college is the financial office or just some of the offices in general. The people are nice but if you do not constantly email them, it will take them forever to get back to you.
SAU truly feels like home! I have really enjoyed my time at SAU and can't wait to return when I'm on breaks. The atmosphere is homey and everyone is really nice. The staff works hard to make sure every student gets any help they need and will go above and beyond to help a student succeed. One of my favorite things about the school is the campus and all the beautiful scenery. It's not an enormous campus, so it is fairly easy to walk to classes and get there on time. Southern Arkansas University is the best school for anyone and everyone!
My time at SAU has been amazing so far! I look forward to what else this place has in store for me. The school's motto is accurate; it really does "Feel like Home." The people are friendly, and the campus is beautiful and safe. The professors are helpful, and the classes have been challenging, yet passable. Despite SAU being in a small town, I feel like there is plenty to do. The only thing I would change would be further renovations on the older dorms.
