Southeastern Louisiana University Reviews
I love that southeastern is such a big yet small place. It is so easy to make new friends; because I thought it would be hard to meet new people my freshman year but they literally just walked up to me and now I have an amazing group of friends! The school work is not difficult if you learn what ways of studying help you understand better. The extracurricular activities are always fun things to do if you or your friends are bored in the dorms(plus you meet new people that way also). The cafe food is great and the atmosphere is peaceful. The lunch ladies/men are funny and enjoyable, they really love getting to know you. The teachers vary from student to student. Overall southeastern is an amazing school and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a nice, fun and peaceful university!
I love everything about Southeastern! I am a Freshman, and ever since I’ve started, I’ve felt so welcome by my advisors, professors, and other students. I feel like it’s truly one big huge family of the students and even the professors and faculty. The professors never fail to help you, their math labs and writing centers are extremely helpful, and the free tutoring and counseling is beyond excellent!
I have thoroughly enjoyed my time so far at Southeastern. My biggest suggestion for anyone interested in coming to this school is to get involved with the school and your education. Once you take this step, going to school no longer seems so boring and forced. I have loved getting involved and forming connections throughout my two years here. Everyone is super friendly and understanding. It has made me want to stay in school. It has given me a drive that I did not know I had. Without getting involved, I probably would not have enjoyed my experience near as much. I may have even dropped out. Please, do yourself a favor and get involved!
