My son and I had a tour of your school and we loved it. Lazina Johnson the Admissions Coordinator is amazing. She is very kind, professional, extremely helpful, knowledgeable. She makes you feel like family.
My issue, my son went to a private high school where is obtained his diploma. When we tried to register my son, we found out the high school was no longer accredited and his diploma is worthless. This was very upsetting as my son worked very hard for his diploma.
Does or will Southeastern College have a course to obtain his diploma at your school so he can continue with Southern and register for the Surgical Tech course? This would also benefit other students in this awful situation.

Southeastern College played a significant role in me achieving my Medical Assisting/Phlebotomy Certifications. This journey was actually fun to say the least. .I was able to start classes with a month no hassle. I started full time and had Mr.Dickens as my Professor and I want to commend him on being the absolute best, he made coming to class and learning fun. He gives us his utmost time, attention and shows us how dedicated he is to us each and everytime we step foot in that classroom. He pushes his students to their absolute best. In the midst of attending full time I had to reduce my time from full time to part time classes and I gained another amazing professor, Ms.Wood. She was amazing dedicated, she showed up for us, even through her circumstances health wise she was still there making sure we were on track with everything and never behind.Her determination and dedication to her job was admirable. My time at Southeastern college was memorable and very well worth my time.
After 10 years, going back to school was a big deal for me especially being 7 months pregnant and already having a 6 year old. My general education classes were online and went smoothly, I was home with two kids due to the pandemic. In my core class, Medical Assisting, I had the best educational experience on Campus. I am more confident in myself, this program and my future career, thanks to my professor. At times, I just wanted to drop out because it was becoming too overwhelming and I didn't think anyone saw how heavy it was becoming for me. Mr. Dickens reached out to me, randomly one day and texted me "Do you realize how smart you are? Don't give up". Honestly, those few words, when I was at my lowest, meant a lot to me and I kept pushing. I'm beyond excited to finally be starting externship, passing my national exam and graduating. I'm looking forward to graduation day and getting out there into the real world of medical professions, maybe go for my Bachelors.
