The thing I like the most about south suburban has to be the professors in my first semester here things are looking up. The professors make the lessons more interactive and less like the monotonic lecture style, and they also respond to emails and questions promptly. Which was a big issue that I had at my previous university, I'd send out an email and get a response like a week later. Something that I think could be changed is more outlets in the library, a lot of study areas in the library don't have outlets and it limits what you can do on your laptop in a given time. Otherwise, great university!
South Suburban College is a great college with excellent teachers that made me feel appreciated. The college greatly cares about student's and does what it can to help them through their college year. Furthermore, the school has many opportunities to help out the students with writing centers, math labs, and peer-to-peer tutoring. Overall, a great college to go to with teachers that will try their best to help students succeed.
Everybody is so helpful, kind and willing to help out every student. The financial aid process went smoothly and there online appointments to help you with your needs without having to come in.
