I absolutely love attending this school. As someone who had a bit of a rough start in my college experiences, this schools support team and staff were truly something I will forever cherish. Through my own hard work and their assistance, I was able to pull myself out of what felt like the deepest hole for myself. I was able to achieve good academic standing and I know that I wouldn't have been able to do it alone. Overall an amazing school with an amazing faculty!
Attending college has been an extraordinary and transformative journey that has shaped not only my academic knowledge but also my personal growth and development. My college experience has been a rollercoaster of challenges, self-discovery, and memorable moments that I wouldn't trade for anything. College provided me opportunities for personal exploration. I had the freedom to choose my path, explore my interests, and make mistakes along the way. These experiences were invaluable in shaping my identity and helping me understand my strengths and weaknesses. Of course, it wasn't without its share of challenges. Balancing coursework, social life, and personal responsibilities could be overwhelming at times. The financial burden of tuition and living expenses added stress, and there were moments of self-doubt and uncertainty. However, it was in these moments of adversity that I learned resilience and the importance of seeking support from friends, family, and campus resources.
I transferred here in my sophomore year. I felt at home immediately. All the faculty and staff were welcoming. My professors were all good. I majored in Criminal Justice and was a part of Greek life. I made friends that will last a lifetime. The campus buildings were just renovated and in excellent shape. The town of Shippensburg itself was a normal small college town and pretty safe. Shippensburg University was the best choice I made for my bachelor's degree!
