My experience with Shelton State has been average. This college has a decent education system and the professors have decent teaching methods. The on-campus food is limited and not satisfying to the tatse. Since my time at Shelton State, I have never experienced any issues that harms my safety while on campus. Shelton State does not offer dorms or housing for students. There are many things that Shelton State should change. They should have dorms or housing near the campus since I live quite far from Shelton State. They should have a variety of food choices instead of one fast food restaurant. Some of the staff members should be more respectful towards students. There should be better class tutors for those that need help with their classes.

Shelton state has pushed me to become a better student and a better person. Shelton is more than a school it’s a family . The students at Shelton are open to many things such as, extremely good teachers, free tutoring on campus, a soar center where we are able to interact with others, and gain help, also some awesome advisers who do not mind spending time with you to put you where you need to be, and to help you gain a clearer understanding of everything. In addition to that we have medium size class rooms enough for us to be vocal with other and the teacher still be able to help each of us if needed.
Outstanding value! Almost all the teachers I had were engaged, cared about the students and put a lot of effort into their preparations. I was on the baseball team and can only say GREAT things about the fairness of the opportunity to prove yourself and Coach Sprowl is fiercely loyal and honest with his players.
