Seton Hall University is a small, close-knit community! When I walk across campus I see at least 5 people I know well. There are opportunities to expand your interests and talents with a close proximity to NYC. If you are looking for a large school with every single thing at your fingertips, then Seton Hall is not for you. However, SHU offers a unique environment of a close community that still provides its students with opportunities to grow in a diverse community.
Review Seton Hall University
I'm having the most wonderful experience here at Seton Hall University. I feel like Seton Hall offers the best of both worlds-- we have that big school feel with having Division 1 Sports and when you walk across the green, you don't always see familiar faces. But then you get that small school feel when you're in the classroom, with a small class size, and your professor knows your name! Also, Seton Hall guarantees student success, our Career Center offers over 15,000 internships every year, and we are able to do that because we are only 14 miles from New York City. I'm so thankful to be able to got to a school that makes me feel like I am at home! Choosing Seton Hall University was the best decision I've ever made.
I have loved my first semester here at Seton Hall University. As time goes on, I grow to enjoy my time here even more. I like the fact that the school is diverse and I actually enjoy going to classes with professors that are eager to teach. The party scene is pretty good, I also love going to the town for a bite to eat and the ease of access to get to New York City. I feel safe as there is security around campus. Being a basketball school I really enjoy going to the games and cheering on the Pirates. The freshmen dorms are pretty nice, I like mine as I am in a suite which is really nice and makes life easy. The cafe has lots of food options. They also have a Dunkin Donuts that is always open except few hours on Saturday which makes life easy to always have a place to go to late night on campus. There's a lot more for me to see but I love it here and I advise others to see what it is like a Seton Hall pirate!
