Getting my Multimedia Arts education through Sessions was such a wonderful and enriching experience! It has certainly helped me in my professional career as an artist working in the entertainment industry where I have had the opportunity to use my skills learned at Sessions. My multimedia arts skills have also given more freelancing opportunities. I am grateful that I was able to incorporate my local community college as part of the curriculum which was a time saver and gave me more time to spend with my family –which I was able to incorporate into some of my class assignments! Instructors with real-world experience, I highly recommend Sessions College for Professional Design. It was an investment that has paid off for me in many ways, professionally and personally!
The first two classes I took had actual Sessions produced videos with a teacher breaking down and explaining things to you. Every other class is essentially a page of matter-of-fact text and a ton of YouTube videos. You'll message a teacher about how to complete an assignment and they will literally throw you YouTube videos with little explanation in text. If I would have known I could've saved my money and went to school free on YouTube. Not professional.
I spent four years studying for a BFA and felt unprepared for a career in graphic design. Fast forward seven years and I’ve created a life for my new family in a career that never left me satisfied. Studying/freelancing independently, trying to put together a portfolio I needed to fill in the gaps of my education. With no time for college or night courses, it was then that a professor introduced me to Sessions. They made enrolling in the right program easy and satisfying. You may need to wait several days for feedback. Their online learning environment is intuitive, the scope is streamlined, teacherys have relevant career experience. Since enrolling I’ve become adept with the software universally used, produced a number of professional art pieces and successfully procured a career as a Multimedia Specialist.
