So far as a current student at Seminole State College of Florida on the Altamonte campus, the opportunities given are incredible and very helpful for students to navigate to a career pathway! They have a fantastic nursing program here for students interested in pursuing a career in health studies, and many resources for academic success through what we call Raider Connect. A Direct Connect to the University of Central FL (UCF) is offered by earning an A. A or A.S degree from this partnered college to complete your guaranteed admission to the University. Therefore, Look no further way from here to begin your career!
Some pretty great and accommodating professors here! Most classes are quite easy (At least the gen eds). Staff is lacking organization a little bit, definitely make sure you're following your majors pathway. I had multiple different advisors tell me different classes I needed in order to graduate.
Seminole state is an awesome college. The financial aid department is so helpful along with the student success services as well. They give you everything you need to succeed with multiple sources that can help you, like free tutoring! Every professor I’ve had so far is amazing. I definitely recommend going here.
