Sophomore: My experience at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln has been really great so far! The university has a lot of research opportunities, and being a psych student, has provided me with a truly enriching education. The faculty members have been great mentors, guiding me through my academic journey in psychology and inspiring me to push my boundaries and become more engaged. The campus life is great and there are many student organizations and activities that have allowed me to pursue my passions and make new friendships. The community at UNL has made me feel like I am part of something bigger than myself. The campus facilities are nice, providing all the resources I need for my studies and personal growth. Sophomore: It's great I love the environment! I would go here if you would like to learn a lot without making lots of commitments and have to pay so much. Love the community, teachers, and other study groups and clubs! Come here if you are not exactly sure what you want to choose for the future! They help you get internship and jobs during college as well! It is a very clean area, safe, nice and neat. I hear the dorms are beautiful lots of scholarships and grants here as well. Alum: What I liked about the University of Nebraska at Kearney is the small town feel it had in a growing relatively bigger city. Kearney had so much to offer for college students. From the Athletics, to the spacious campus, as well as the endless restaurants and beautiful Nebraska scenery in the surrounding areas. It is conveniently located right off the interstate, so it is easily accessible. As far as the curriculum, it is hands down the best bang for your buck for a University. It is part of the University of Nebraska system, so all of the professors are top tier and extremely knowledgeable. I had the experience of being on campus half of my time at UNK, and then remote for my last year at UNK. Sophomore: Wayne State College has been successful in teaching me how to become an independent young adult. I enjoy the smaller classrooms and individual conversations we have as a class. Being in a smaller school is comforting and each class keeps each student involved. Wayne State provides access to many support systems. This is helpful as I suffer with more than one mental illness. The only thing I would change is being able to move in earlier as a returning student because I need time to get settled in before beginning classes.
