Sophomore: I love William Carey University. I have been to three different colleges and can honestly say that there is a difference in the professors and faculty. They love to see their students succeed and cater to our needs quickly. The traditions campus is beautiful and offers multiple commodities like study rooms, library, and a student lounge. The professors are amazing and down to earth. Very willing to help their students and are quick with their responses. I am a BSN RN nursing major and I cannot stress how helpful the class size is compared to a larger university. Junior: My college experience here at Mississippi College has been a rollercoaster of growth. My first step onto campus was delightful, and I knew I belonged in an atmosphere like the one Mississippi College offers. God-fearing welcomes you and eventually, it becomes a sort of natural response. Mississippi College is founded on honesty with others and yourself! You will become accustomed to this beautiful way of life and feel transformed on behalf of God and the universities mission. I believe Mississippi College is a choice that would be hard to regret. Sophomore: Millsaps is a great place to go to school! People can complain about lots of things, but you can do that for any institution no matter where you go to school. The community and social life is wonderful, it’s really easy to make friends and be liked. It is a fun place to go to school everyday, and Millsaps has a beautiful campus to accompany that. To be realistic, the biggest struggles Millsaps faces is the Jackson area, and the campus infrastructure. However, I have heard that in terms of the infrastructure, many issues should be resolved and renovated soon! Sophomore: Belhaven University has one of the most unique communities that I have ever seen on a college campus. The professors care about their students and strive to know their students personally so that they are able to support them in their studies. The student body is equally wonderful if you decide to dive into it. Students are excited about getting to know and serve those around them. As a Christian school, many of the students are of the same religion and continue to do their best to show others the love of Christ. I have grown not only in my knowledge of my degree fields but also in my relationship with God and as a person. I cannot imagine going to another school. Junior: Rust college is the way it is because of the students. They make the school, I would love to see change in the faulty as far as being on the same page as athletics (as I am an athlete). And over giving the students who make the school a better experience. Throughout the 2 years I’ve been at rust, we have been going through the same issues since day one. Loosing our paper work, not being professional, outdated professors, pot holes, messed up ceilings and pipes which has caused us many housing issues with the students and etc. I just want to see my underdog school win!! Sophomore: I feel very safe on campus. It is a small campus but all staff is very helpful. The school doesn’t take Federal Loans so it is expensive and I’m struggling to find ways to pay.
