Freshman: Explosive is the word I would use to describe my time here at Embry Riddle's Daytona campus. It all started with a bang on move-in day where everyone was scrambling to get situated in their rooms. Seeing the number of cars lined up in the lots and the blurring blue shirts all over campus made me think just wow! When I got my ID card and went to my room, I didn't expect it to be as nice as it was. Another explosion went in my brain seeing the possibilities of my room. The only downside was having to sweep and mop the floors because it wasn't the cleanest. After me and my roommates got situated, orientation week started and man the amount of events that were happening was overwhelming. Sophomore: Overall, my experience at Stetson University as a freshman was overall good. My experience with professors was amazing, almost all of them being not only my professors, but guides in this new era of my life. Particularly, Dr. Markley and Dr. Burke were my shining lights. Dr. Markley helped to make learning fun and exciting, and talked to us not like we were beneath her, but on the same level as us. Alum: I attended Florida College for 2.5 years. This is an excellent academic institution. The professors, staff, and students all strive for community and helping one another grow academically, professionally, and spiritually. Located in Temple Terrace, Florida College is eight minutes away from Busch Gardens, a half hour from the beach, twenty minutes away from downtown Tampa, and an hour and a half away from Disney. There are so many outdoor activities available to do in the area, and students (and the SBGA) are constantly planning events on-campus and off. There is no shortage of opportunities for social fun. After FC, I attended University of South Florida, which was a great experience, but I did not make the hundreds of lasting connections and friendships that I still have thanks to FC. Freshman: I am so glad I decided to attend Flagler in St Augustine. This school felt like home from the minute I toured it before my senior year of high school. The school is small but large enough to have a wide variety of clubs and activities. Alum: Overall my experience was great! I got to meet other creatives, not just in my degree program digital art and design but, film, media communications and music. The degree programs at Full Sail University are set at an accelerated pace so you're able to get you bachelors in two years instead of four years as usually. This is because you're taking two classes every month and are essentially in class almost everyday of the week, it's kinda like a job. You'll get access to all the current software used in your field of study by professionals and depending on the degree program a hands on experience with going on film sets, sound stages and more. Freshman: I'm currently a Freshman in St. Thomas University and so far I can say I didn't make a mistake by picking this college. There's always fun activities for students to do around campus and plenty of clubs to join to be involved in the school and meet new people. Going into college I was always scared because people would tell me school food was not the best, but thats not the case in STU the dinning hall always has various of food for everyone's liking and if you do not want to eat in the dining hall there's other the places you could eat on campus. I like STU because campus is not big and you can get to your destination by walking and the max it'll take is 10 minutes. All the staff member are willing to help when needed and there's public safety always on duty making sure campus is safe. STU is a catholic school but it doesn't force it on you, their understanding of other individuals belief. There's different options for housing and maintenance is always there when needed help....
