Sophomore: Yale has been a fun and enjoyable experience overall. I would definitely choose Yale again if I had to re-do my college application. Academics: some departments are better taught than other departments. Yale can be weaker in CS and Math compared to other universities, but most alums are still very successful. Like most colleges, there is a lot of independent learning and there are numerous resources to help you. The environment is not competitive unless premed. Social life: Yale has an AMAZING social life compared to other universities of equal caliber. There is always something going on and you can be as social as you want. Social life is nonexistent during midterm season. There are parties, frats, concerts, woads, club formals, and many other events. Sophomore: Having just finished my first year at Wesleyan I can definitely see why this place is so highly rated. By far my favorite thing about this place are the people I've met from professors to students to alumni. I just think this place attracts a type of person who is passionate and interesting and I think that's why I'm in college in the first place. For Brown Rejects: The university is expensive, and as you pay a flat rate and cannot switch classes around easily the experience can feel claustrophobic or rather limiting if you're among the MOST driven students; but O! to be in the middle 50 here; you will stumble into incredible classes with awesome professors and interesting students who will keep you engaged in the material and the work is manageable, club scene is a blast, music is great, alright nightlife, and great senior housing.... Freshman: Studying at Trinity is the best experience i I’ve ever had. The student body is so cool, diverse, and supportive, the staff really cares about the students, and the professors are open to anything. Also Trinity is very generous - if u need grant money for research/study abroad/field trip - they always give it. Meals at Mother are really good. They’re diverse, and you can always find everything you need. CAMPUS IS SO BEAUTIFUL, one of the best (if not the best lol) college campuses in the US. Area around campus is so-so, but the campus safety is always on duty, and they have the blue lights system, so as a girl I feel safe about walking across campus even at 2am. Downtown Hartford is cool and pretty btw, it’s better to study at Trinity than in the middle of nowhere. The parties are SUPER FUN. The students are crazy in the best possible connotation. “Work hard - party hard” environment, definitely. Overall, I love Trinity, cannot emphasize it more. Couldn’t imagine myself anywhere else!... Sophomore: I am currently in the 4+3 bachelor of athletic training and doctorate of physical therapy track and I absolutely love it. My major is very hands on and the professors truly love what they are teaching. The campus is very straightforward and has a simple layout. There's roughly 12k students on campus, so it's a medium size school that gives a lot of room to relax and a bunch of rooms in every building to study. I feel like this school is fairly comfy and isn't too overwhelming. Sleeping Giant overlooks the campus so there's a great deal of nature that surrounds the campus that gives it an enclosed feel. Food isn't the best, but definitely is not close to being the worst. Theres always a ton of student activities and there are tons of games to go to. Junior: Sacred Heart is an amazing school that really tries to get everyone involved in some way. It is my home away from home, and I always feel welcomed and feel like I belong at Sacred Heart. The campus is always growing and it is gorgeous. Sacred Heart is also very good at listening to their students opinions and suggestions, especially when it comes to the dining halls! Sophomore: I’m currently in my second semester of sophomore year and after completing all of my academic courses, I’m finally able to start working towards my illustration major and animation minor. In my freshman year alone, I’ve noticed just how much my art has improved! I’ve learned to pay attention to lighting in a 3D space and how to correct my proportions when it comes to drawing anatomy. Sophomore: University of Bridgeport is an excellent school in terms of curriculum, faculty, and, of course, the radiant and huge campus. You have a wide array of majors to choose from, and the extra curricular opportunities are amazing! This school is also very much suitable for international students, considering I am an international student and I fit it in very nicely, just as other students from over 30 countries who were with me during the Fall '21 intake.
