Freshman: I liked having the option of doing my prerequisite classes online while in high school. Signing up for my prerequisite courses will help me have a less stressful college semester when I start in the Fall. I recommend getting ahead of the game to avoid as much stress and the possibility of having a semester off. Freshman: I enjoyed how the staff was friendly, helpful, and treated every person the same. Freshman: I love it, it is an amazing college and they are the best at answering any questions you have or anything you need help with. It is amazing with the online experience and classes it's so easy to access your student account and makes it a lot easier when your busy with home life work and school of course. In my opinion that college is the best by far there may be others that think differently but in my case it's in my town right by my house and it's a good source of information about what the college entails they have so many programs and give really good advice and helpful information I think it could be something to look into and they have tons of study programs and a bunch of stuff and resources to help you get started and help with anything financial if you need financial assistance or anything of the sort they have an online book store of to get any other materials that you need but it's only through your student account. Junior: Personally, I love this place. The staff is incredibly welcoming and helpful and there are lots of resources if you need them. The facility is clean and the environment is pleasant for learning or studying. There are also lots of clubs and events to get involved in as well as opportunities like scholarships! Classes, at least the ones I've been in, are small and you can get to know your professors and peers. There are programs for certain majors and plenty of classes to choose from, except some of them may be online instead of at the campus. However, if you're struggling with an online class, M State offers tutoring programs to help you get on your feet, just one of the many helpful services they make available. Sophomore: Florida Gateway College is a great school! There are so many activities and options open for a student. There are always events going on and the professor comes to the activities, even when they start during your class time. The professors are great teachers, in the short amount of time you get with them, you get to them know them and they get to know you. There is associability between the library, student center, and student success center. You can study, do homework, find tutors, and even make new friends! Florida Gateway is a wonderful public college that I have enjoyed, the advisors are so friendly and helpful. I recommend FGC to all my friends looking for a great college to go to, I know the big named schools like UF and FSU are places that everyone wants to go but FGC is an amazing environment and their options for classes and degrees are wonderful as well. Junior: I enjoyed the college, it has a great environment with great teachers who will work with you if you are honest and open with them. I was terribly sick one semester and my teacher went out of his way to make sure I knew I was not gonna fail and that he'd catch me up if need be. He studied for hours after class with me, and I did end up passing! The counselors are wonderful people, very fun to stop and chit chat with when you're feeling bored of class. The library is a wonderful place to study, and make new study buddy partners, and the kitchen has absolutely amazing food, you've got to try it. Freshman: I liked that the community college itself is well organized just like other institutions are having three different campuses of the same college. It's school that is not very expensive and makes a great start to earning any sort of degrees in particular. Sophomore: I have made some of the best of friends here at East Mississippi Community College. Learning there as been such a beautiful journey. Every professor I have had was extremely helpful. Freshman: I've had friends take online classes before, but none of their schools compares to Yavapai College in Prescott Arizona. Not only are the teachers amazing and really give you that one on one time to ask questions and actually learn things, but they also provide you with a laptop and hotspot in case you don't have your own. Financial aid is on top of everything, making sure that you get everything filled out and submitted on time to get grants and scholarships. All of the student advisors I've had have been really helpful in helping me to decide which classes to take so that I wasn't overwhelmed and would have the time to do my best in each one. Freshman: Enrolling and applying for Cochise College was extremely easy with plenty of people available for questions and help. The entire staff I had interreacted with made enrolling and understanding things like finances and tuition much more approachable and smooth to go through, espeically while requesting disability accommodations. Planning and holding meetings were quick and very efficient to get what I needed with little to no hassle. I really appreciated how approachable they made each task instead of surrounding the whole process of enrollment and figuring out my tuition with even more dread. I have not started classes yet so I cannot speak on my actual experience with that yet, but every before school task I had to complete as a college freshman was easily glided through. Alum: I attended the Ridgeland Campus of Holmes Community College. The main campus is located about 45 minutes away in Goodman, Mississippi. Holmes in Ridgeland is a great school. The teachers and employees at the school seem genuinely happy to be working with students of all ages and backgrounds. There is an array of different education opportunities, including trades, provided at the college. Scholarships as well as work-based learning opportunities are available for students, whether first-time or non-traditional. The cafeteria is well-stocked with both hot and cold food options available morning and afternoon. There are vending machines in each building. The campus is beautiful and well maintained. There is landscaping and sidewalks throughout. The offices are easy to find and staffed fully. The professors offer normal office hours and seem to be willing to help. Junior: Rio Hondo is such a great institution! From the great lab facilities to the great lunches at the café. Rio Hondo offers great staff and a set of wonderful professors who give you the help you need for success. The transfer center also has played a huge roll in my educational path.
