Senior: I love how inclusive the university is, whether it’s in the classroom or on campus in general. The professors are experienced and passionate about what they teach with helps me stay engaged and interested. You have the opportunity to take classes outside of your major too. I’m baking and pastry but I’ve taken a couple of film classes and a music class which were both very fun. The campus is in the heart of the city so it’s always fun to walk around and one can even walk to the mall. I’ve gone to an outdoor skating rink too which was right down the road. The reason why it’s 4 stars and not 5 is because for a culinary school, the dining isn’t very good. However they make up for it with all the activities they have like a build a bear event, outdoor movie, and they had a ratatouille event where you get to watch the movie while eating the food from the film, prepared by JWU culinary students. Alum: CCRI is the best place to start your college career. The low-cost tuition makes for a stress-free two years and will help you save for the final two years at a different school. The Lincoln campus is great - I didn’t have a single professor I didn’t like, parking is right outside the building, classrooms are easy to find, and I never had class on Friday! CCRI is a great transition school from high school to college, and I highly recommend it for anyone going to college, especially those who are unsure what to major in. Why pay $40k per year somewhere else just to take gen-eds? I went to CCRI for free, and I would choose to do it again in a heartbeat. I was totally set on going to a certain 4-year school after high school, but going to CCRI was the right decision. I enjoyed my time at CCRI and I strongly urge more high school grads to go.... Niche User: Lincoln Tech has been a good school so far. My teachers are friendly, supportive and helpful. The career that I am studying for is a very important role because Medical is something that everyone needs as much support as they can get. I like helping people and I like knowing that people will choose to come to me if they have any concerns of any sort. Medical Office Assistant is something I hope I achieve and do very well. Alum: Johnson & Wales is an amazing school, and has a great psychology program truly dedicated to it’s students. Jessica Rounds, my academic advisor was extremely helpful throughout my entire time at school, she checked on me whenever my grades were slipping, when I was doing well she congratulated me, and if I needed any help with anything she would always provide me resources if she couldn’t help me herself.
