Alum: North Dakota State University was some of the best experiences I have had in my life. This includes academics such as internships as well as extracurriculars. There was always something going on during the week and on the weekends to get you involved in the NDSU community or the Fargo community at large. When I got in to my major, my classes became more focused and smaller so that I was better able to focus and be more comfortable in class. Some of the larger class sizes did not make it easy for me to ask questions in class. My overall experience at NDSU was great. I spent a lot of time on campus doing homework in the various spaces available. My one request is tunnels or skywalks for the brutal North Dakota winters... Freshman: What I like about Jamestown the most is its community like location. It is a type of college that doesn't make you feel out of home, lost in a big city. Even though its size is not large, the welcoming everyone has given me is. The campus is beautiful, organized, and they have great programs for many careers one would follow. I've talked to an athletic coach, and athletic recruiter, and a professor. And all of them were very helpful and welcoming. When I spoke to them it didn't feel like an interview you were pressured to answer everything correctly to their standard, it was more like a formal conversation you were having with a friend.
