Alum: MWCC is an excellent community college. My experience of attending was primarily online and in the art department so I am not exactly the perfect person to give a full overview however what I have gotten the chance to view firsthand was delightful. The students and faculty are a very close-knit group who are extremely friendly and welcoming to everyone. The trio/advising department is accommodating and genuinely cares about you as a student, even after you graduate they are welcome to continue giving advice and checking in on you. Freshman: The professor are great when needed help, during this pandemic they make sure all the students understand the material presented and which the offer one on one Zoom meeting in order to improve your understanding to the course. They will also try and make it fun as if we in class and try to encourage students to speak out more freely. All of the advisors will help you guide into your next step into our futures and help make sure everything is set before we go on our way. They have helped me make some decisions on which school I believe that would be a great opportunity to pursue my goal. Stcc is an excellent starting point just in case those who have not fully decided what they would like to go into. This is a good way of saving Money and expediting what some careers there is.... Freshman: This college has allowed me to take general courses while trying to figure out my way in finding what I want to pursue! I am able to take in person classes or all online. I can easily commute to campus and all of the professors are very helpful and knowledgeable. I am easily able to communicate and the college provides lots of details on the classes and the school itself. The wide variety of classes allow students to easily chose what classes benefit and interest them. I am able to easily communicate with my teachers and the online part of school is easy to navigate, so I am easily able to access my grades and classwork. Works Here: Urban College of Boston has undergone rapid change over the last few years. We have overhauled our curriculum so that our diverse students are getting the education they need for their professional goals and attain a high level of English competency at graduation. Senior: Professors that care, hands on experience, diverse and all inclusive. Love that it's small classroom and all of the students get to know eachother and the teachers. the teachers are mostly alumni so they know what its like to be a stduent and care about the program more then anyone else that wasn't a student.
