Junior: My experience with Morgan has been up and down, especially since the pandemic hit us. Some of the professors have definitely been trying to be more lenient with due dates and extensions on homework assignments. What I like about Morgan so far is their policy on social distancing and trying to keep COVID-19 away. I highly recommend taking their summer and winter classes if you need to retake a class or just want to be ahead in general. Morgan has a lot of student organizations active to this day so join an organization if you can! They're really fun and super welcoming. Senior: I'm in my senior year at Coppin as an HIM major and I love how supportive my professors are of my success. They provide many resources to help students succeed and give great advice on where to look for scholarships, volunteer opportunities, internships, and more. If you make yourself known and available, professors and staff members will ride for you when you enter the real world and need recommendations. I also like that there are many events that happen on campus throughout the year. Gives you more chances to meet people and figure out where you might belong at Coppin. The amenities available on campus are also good. The bookstore always has snacks and supplies I might need and it's also nice that there multiple places to eat on campus besides the café. It's also very affordable, especially if you're in-state and commute. Overall, I'm enjoying my time at Coppin and would recommend it, especially to those in science related majors like me.... Freshman: By far, I loved my experience here! I was able to meet tons of new people and I liked the diversity (even though its a predominantly black university). The campus is always being cleaned and the lawn is always kept neat and tidy. Everything has been organized and plenty of clubs and events are held. The professors I've had have been wonderful and always open to help and take out office hours for me. I believe that as long as one keeps good balance with friends, college life, and school, they would have a great experience just as I did. Sophomore: So far my college experience is really just beginning. I am currently an upcoming sophomore, and I haven't really gotten into the inner workings of my major but I am excited to finally get into them this semester. While I did not join many organizations last semester, I did in fact join one which is a modeling organization called models collective. I love this organization solely based on the fact that it's based around helping women and even men increase their positive self-image. If people are looking for an org I would highly suggest that one, accepts everyone no matter if you're a beginner. Although I do not love the dorm I stayed in, the campus itself is very small but quite beautiful. Especially, during the spring when the flowers are starting to bloom and the trees regain their leaves. The instructors I've encountered so far have been nothing short of great and they each take pride in their work. The student/ campus life is also great when it comes to events and parties....
